As the weather warms up, and we slowly move out of what I call the "layering seasons," I've been relying more and more on simple combinations of dress + outer layer, which is what this past week was all about.
I rely on dresses for rushed mornings, when I can't be trusted to coordinate a top and bottom. The weather is perfect right now for just a duster or kimono outer layer — and nothing else. And when your outer layer is such a statement, it looks like you actually tried or something, which is perfectly fine with me.
